Native Friendship Centre of Montreal could close its doors

The Native Friendship Centre of Montreal could close in as little as three months.
Last year, Le Regoupement des centres d’aimite autochtones du Quebec (RCAAQ), the provincial organization of friendship centres, revoked the membership of the Montreal centre for reasons that are still not known.
The centre has been running on its savings since then, but time is short and the savings will run out.
Clients and workers involved with the Montreal friendship centre attended an emergency meeting this week to try and save it. APTN National News reporter Ossie Michelin was there. (Video at link below)
